Returns & Refunds Policy

We have a 7-day return policy. You have 7 days from the day your order is delivered to request a return. Requests made after 7 days cannot be accepted.

Approved returns are issued as AUREAH store credit, not as a refund to your original payment method. Store credit is sent by email as a code you can use on any future order, and it is valid for 12 months from the date we issue it. There is one important exception, set out under "Damaged, defective or wrong items" below.

What makes an item eligible

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition you received it — unworn, unwashed and unused, with all original tags attached and in its original packaging. You will also need your order number or proof of purchase.

Because almost every AUREAH piece is made in a single quantity per size, we inspect returns carefully. Items that come back worn, washed, altered, scented, marked or without tags cannot be accepted, and will be sent back to you at your cost.

How to start a return

Write to us at getyouraura17@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery, or message us on WhatsApp. Include your order number, the item, and the reason for the return.
We'll reply within one business day confirming whether the return is accepted, and how to send it back. Where your pin code is serviceable we will arrange a reverse pickup; otherwise we'll share the return address and you can ship it to us.
Once the item reaches us and passes inspection, we issue your store credit by email — usually within 3 business days of it arriving.

Please request a return before sending anything back. Parcels that arrive without an approved return request cannot be accepted or credited.

Damaged, defective or wrong items

Please check your order as soon as it arrives. If a piece is damaged, defective, or is not the item you ordered, contact us straight away at getyouraura17@gmail.com with photographs, and we will make it right.

In these cases you are entitled to a full refund to your original payment method if you want one, and we will always honour that. You may choose a replacement or store credit instead if you prefer, but the choice is yours, not ours. This right is protected under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and nothing in this policy limits it.

Items we cannot take back

Pierced jewellery and earrings, for hygiene reasons.
Pieces made or altered to your measurements.
Gift cards and store credit.
Anything returned after the 7-day window, or without an approved return request.

Sale and discounted pieces are returnable on the same terms as everything else. If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, just ask before you buy.

Exchanges

Because most pieces exist in a single quantity per size, we cannot hold stock while a return travels back to us. The fastest way to get the size or colour you want is to return the piece you have for store credit, and place a new order for the one you want as soon as you see it — it may not be there later.

Order cancellations

You can cancel an order at no cost any time before it is dispatched — just write to us. Once a parcel has been handed to the courier, the return process above applies instead.

If we have to cancel your order at our end, for example because a piece sold out at the same moment in two places, you receive a full refund to your original payment method, not store credit.

How store credit works

Issued by email as a single-use code, usually within 3 business days of your return arriving.
Equal to the price you actually paid for the item, excluding any shipping charge.
Valid for 12 months from the date of issue, on any order at aureah.in.
Can be combined with a sale price, but not with another discount code on the same order.
